PAYTON HARDEN
"My name is Payton Harden and my peers, coaches, and professors call me "PayDay." I attend McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I play Center Field and am a Junior (due to COVID-19) with plans of entering the MLB Draft this year. I've started since I was a freshman and won the Conference Championship 2x along with 2 regional appearances. One year, after 2 catastrophic hurricanes, a flood and an ice storm, we persevered through it all and kept going. I am a leader on my team and around campus and I think MENtal health as a college athlete is hugely and incredibly important. Dealing with all of the stress and pressures we face as collegiate athletes with school, on the field, or outside problems, we endure a lot. All you have to do is keep going."
