"Throughout college I have found that your MENtal really drives your everyday actions. As an athlete we face many challenges personally, socially, or within our sport that takes a lot out of us on a daily. I have found that having a strong belief in God, having a strong support system, and taking time to yourself every now and then is the best way to handle any situation you may face and the key to making sure your MENtal health is at its finest. With that being said, it also important to speak out about the problems and struggles that we experience. It is not healthy to bottle up a lot of emotions/feelings and put them to the side. I encourage everyone to talk about their MENtal health more often, as it will prove that your mind is the best asset you have."
